CAREER DAY Career Day which was held Monday, Feb. 2, is a phase of a guidance program sponsored by the Girard schools for the purpose of helping the student select the career best suited for him. Assisting with the program were 29 experienced men and women of var- ious professions and occupations able to explain the field, offer suggestions, and answer questions. J. S. Todd, president of the local school board, gave a short address to the student body on the importance of choosing a career. Then the students met in various groups of their choice with an advisor to discuss and answer questions about the career in which they were most interested.
