Copeland, Vice Presidentg J. S. Todd, Member, Mildred O. Oles, Clerk As the school year of 1946-47 draws to a close, we might well look back to the accomplishments of the boys and girls who make up our student body. Each group and class will have passed an- other milestone. Each will have climbed another round of the ladder of life. To those who will receive their diplomas as recognition of having completed their high school course, other fields will be beckoning. Some will have received all of the class room work they will get, others will continue in school for more advanced education. But to either -group you, yourself, must now make decisions which will largely decide your destiny. This is the time that each of you must remember that the future belongs to those who prepare for it. Your parents, your teachers and your school officials have given you their best. Make the most of it. To the school patrons let us all continue to bend our every effort to the advancement and im- provement of our school system. Let us not rest until our schools and our children have the best. Let's all concentrate our efforts toward better schools and a clearer understanding of our school problems. To our teachers goes our sincerest appreciation for their efforts and cooperation during a most trying period. May your efforts and understanding be not in vain. Each of you from the first to the final class have done a Hswellu job and cannot be too highly complimented or praised. Sincerely yours, 8 ? l M azier, ' Girard Board of Education 6 ulaerinfenclenf CIR Ano CIW XMOOLS Omaha.
