Hug Q' '0 I' l'1lllQll lllg lv na.fQ.i n rg!! l UFHIBIHII Presrdent Treasurer Sponsor V1ce Pres1dent Secretary Tom Peterson Pat Nagel M1ss Wtlson Roy Adams Dtck Whxtler A , The school year of 1953 54 found the Sen1or class bus11y planmng money maktng schemes Be1ng an energeuc class they worked hard at sponsortng bake sales magazme sales etc In the fall of the year the annual magaztne drtve set the ball rolhng and the class never ceased worktng toward thexr goal They followed up the magazme drtve w1th a bake sale and the selhng of snap photos taken of all students here at school A paper drtve proved prosperous and gave a FEW OF THE BOYS a good work out At the f1rst of January the class tr1ed somethmg new and dtfferent they hald a cake walk after the Gtrard V1rden basketball game fwhlch we won tnctdentallyj Cons1der1ng that Dtck Coverdlll won four cakes at 15,6 a ttcket a good proftt was made Next came the sell1ng of greettng cards Wtth everyone co operaung and workmg together thts too proved an asset to the treasury Inthetr Sophomore year the class sponsored a carmval whrch was a huge success despxte skepttcs who satd ll was too large a responstblllty for one class Now havtng pa1d for the annual w1th these other projects a carn1val was planned to help fmance the Sen1or trtp The orgamzatton surpassed that of the Sophomore year every deta11 was taken care of That tr1p to Ktrkwood Lodge seemed closer and closer even though each student pa1d h1s own expenses the class treasury ltfted the load Wtth all th1s 3CIlV1Iy plus putung out the annual the Senlors had a busy fun packed year one to look back upon wxth pleasure xx ' f F7 ' N . . . , .
