science department Mr. Robert Farber Mr. Henry Berkowitz Chairman, Science Department The Science Department has course offerings at every grade level. All of the courses are laboratory oriented, and students have the opportunity to pursue personal interests in the sciences. There is ample laboratory and project work space, as well as tools, supplies, and equipment available to allow students to do in-depth studies in many areas. A complete darkroom is open to all students at regularly sched¬ uled times after school. The department is continuously updating curriculum as well as laboratory equipment in order to pro¬ vide for the wide range of student needs and interests, both vocational and avocational. The Junior High science curriculum is designed to provide every student with a broad foundation in the sciences. The High School curriculum is more specialized with most of the courses as electives.
