Captain Dale Swish Wilken has the honor of com- manding this first space station and to celebrate his good fortune he has invited every- one of his Gilman High School classmates to a celebration he is giving. First to arrive are the former Pat Harms and Dale Saathoff. Pat is the owner of the first million-acre cattle ranch on Mars which is appropriately named the Mars Bar Ranch. Dale is the official straw boss on this prospering ranch and because of the mod- em machinery available in the year 2000 finds that his work doesn't pile up so fast.
