THUMBNAIL SKETCH OF EACH PLAYER J E Paul Jim, a senior was our high scoring center A re gular for 2 years, scored 221 points in 19 games for a ll 6 average Being on the squad 3 years he has received l previous letter Jim is 6 ' 2' tall Besides being a pivot man, Jim is also an outstanding rebounder Robert Stonewall A stellar guard and a senior, Ji gs ls 5 105' tall and a very fast man, he has been on the squad years and has received l previous letter A regular for 2 years, he is a good passer and a fast dribbler Also a hard driver who scores consist ently Kenneth Lavender Kenny, a 2 year regular, is a good one hand pump shot and Jump shot man A squad member for all M years, he is a good ball handler and scorer He has one previous letter and is 5' 10 tall Frank Patterson A senior 5' 10' tall, Frank is a good steady ball player who is always in there fighting when the chips are down He ls a good shot from the field who has hit a good per centage of his shots, Frank has also been on the squad four years and so far has one letter to his credit James L Paul A little man but a reliable man is 5 95 two handed set shot and a one handed push shot Dale Stonewall Another set shot man He has been on the squad 3 years and is a senior, 5' lOl' tall Dale is a hard worker and an aggressive ball player with plenty of fight Don Crawford A senior, 6 2' tall and has been on the squad 3 years He received his first letter last year Don is a hard worker out on the court Bob Carey A senior, 2 years on squad, he ls 5' 9i' tall Ham- pered by a weak heart, Bob did not Join the club at the first of the season but came out for the squad before the County Tournament Virgil Peterson Virgil is only a freshman Although he is only 5' 5i' tall, he is a promising basketball player and has proved to be one of our best reserves B111 Spencer Bill is a Junior He has been on the squad 3 years Bill, 6' tall, is a good rebounder and should play good ball next year Paul Johnson A sophomore, 5' 8' tall This is his second year on the squad Paul is a good ball handler and team man David Paul Another sophomore who shows promise of becoming a good player, Dave stands 5' IOQ' and has been on the squad 2 years He is a good player in the pivot post position J - I E H l 5 .
