HOMECOMING Homecoming weekend kicked off with a bonfire Fri- day night where the Blue Devils burned a Navigator. Saturday, the Devils burned the Hampton Roads Navigators again with a 33-6 victory. Perfect weather and an air of festivity added to the excitement of the afternoon. The field was decorated with class floats, bazaar tents, and Bluecoats. Halftime activities climaxed with Susan Lehmann being crowned Homecoming Queen and Dawn Bailey her Maid of Honor. Saturday night, the S.C.A. sponsored the Homecoming Dance and Pete Showalter, an alumni of Gill school, provided a popular variety of music. Homecoming princesses - Margaret Coxon. N .. ff nw PROM 82 On the night of May 8, 1982 the Junior Class took the Senior Class Sailing As everyone entered over a boardwalk, the seashells, sailboats, and lighthouse created a romantic atmosphere. David Trimmer and Kim Ball were crowned King and Queen as colorful beachballs were dropped from the ceiling. The music was played by Union Pacific.
