26 Activities Homecoming Dance 1977 Homecoming Queen Arlene Coleman and her date, Tim Mays Homecoming 1977 was great! The weekend’s activities started Friday night with a bonfire to encourage spirit for Saturday’s game against Tide- water. The Blue Devils trimuphed over Tidewater I4-0. Before the game a parade of floats, cheerleaders, and princesses circled the field. During halftime Arlene Coleman was crowned Homecoming Queen and Genie Williams was named Maid of Honor. As Saturday night concluded the activities, the SCA sponsored one of the best Homecoming Dances Gill has ever seen.
