An American Field Service organization was formed at Gill this year. The primary con- cerns of the A.F.S. were to raise money to support a foreign student here for a year and to send a student from Gill abroad for six weeks in the summer of 1978. The A.F.S. club communicated with foreign students and students that have lived abroad and other A.F.S. clubs in the area to learn from them and broaden the members’ knowledge.
