He is paid to teach boys phys. ed. and to coach basketball, football, and tennis. But the most valuable concept he dem- onstrates is the true meaning of understanding, friendship, and character. He is a friend who is always willing to help you straighten out your problems and to lend a hand when needed. He may be seen spon- soring the Key Club, participating in faculty plays, lining the football or baseball fields, on the sidelines at athletic events, or just walking through the halls teasing someone. His energetic and optomistic outlook on life touches everyone he meets and makes their day a little bit brighter. Because of his friendship and un- failing willingness to help whenever called upon, we the members of the 1978 yearbook staff, dedicate this year’s “Reflections” to Coach J.
