‘. . . To provide mutual un- derstanding between students and administration . . . To de- velop a high type of school morale .. . To promote fund- raising activities . . .’’ These are just a few reasons for a Student Cooperative Associa- tion. The S.C.A. and sponsors Rugene Paulette and Susan In- gram began the year prepar- ing for Homecoming activities. Although most outside ac- tivities were rained out, the Homecoming Dance, which was the big event, was a tremendous success. The S.C.A. participated in several money-making projects in- cluding several bake sales and a car wash. Although the S.C.A. has had little voice in school activities that directly influence the students, they have and will continue to work toward their goals. Left To Right: Sitting: Beverly Lyell (C), Lynne Martin (S), Robert Bates (T). Standing: Theressa Grubb (V.P.), Jeff Welch (P), Joyce Pierce, Peggy See,-sponsors. 24 Activities First Row: Left To Right: Rugene Paulette, co-sponsor; Pat Bland (P); Wiley Easter (V.P.); Alice Clay (S); Donna Carrel (T); Kim Dawson (C); Susan Ingram, co-sponsor.
