To develop a high type of school ” and administration . . morale To promote fund-raising activities These are a few reasons for last year’s formation of a Student Cooperative Association. After a successful year, the organization continued with Mr. William Upshaw as sponsor. The SCA sponsored several dances during the year with great student participation at each. Their biggest was theme for Xmas Outside as well as Gill students danced away the Xmas Dance. SCA Revises Dress Code; Sponsors Dances First Row: Mr. Upshaw, sponsor; Andy Rives, Vice-President; Jayne Sneed, President; Richard Conyers, Treasurer; Keath Graves, Secretary. Second Roe: Billy Russell, Margie Wheeler, Teri MacDonald, Kemper Brinkley, Elizabeth Chaulklin, Bob Shannon. Third Row: Rhoda Rt- chardson, Ann Allen Laura Der- vishian, Cheryl Westcott, Sue Beaton, Leigh Magnusdal, Betty Via. efforts were put into the revision of the Dress Code. This resulted in the girls being able to wear pantsuits just in time for the coldest winter days. They also continued last year’s Free Days, bringing pleasure to the students and a supplement to the Treasury. This fund was a great asset for dance expenses.
