PEARISBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY Y PEARISBURG PUBLIC LIBRARY shield 1971 3 s3 giles high school pearisburg Virginia 370 G J larry r. houchins editor karen I. fisher assoc, editor M “where do we go from here?” is a question that many of us — especially the seniors — are asking ourselves as we come to the close of another school year, will we utilize the advice we have received during the past twelve years or will we choose to learn from the sometimes hard and cruel teacher — • experience? we honor one whose advice we have sought through the years, words are a poor substitute with which to express our sincere respect and admiration for a man who has worked for us and with us — generously giving of his time and wisdom. a very friendly man, he is never to busy to stop and talk with a student or to help the school in any way he can. in appreciation for such devoted service, the annual staff proudly dedicates the 1971 shield to jack c. williams. 3 4 5 6 7 8 11 jfl 1 •■r j fr ' fHKf Maly .
