CALENDAR School days begin again. X , We all had a vacation to go to the Jasper 'County Fair. The Gilboa Band played and did a niceijob of it, too. Hang over from day before. Freshman's Initiation Day. We decided they were pretty good sports. - Won softball game with kemington. Score 6-7. Started to plan our Carnival. The seniors' hay ride washed out by rain, but we didn't let that stop us from having a car ride to the show. Sophomores give All-School Party. Okey too! Juniors give their class play, Hillbilly Courtship . Pupils vacation while teachers Christmas shop. Ditto. Ditto. This is the day before the.day when the seniors are too busy to go to classes. Senior Carnival a big success. Big money - Sl98.9O. Jimmie' big smile. fCarolyn won Popularity Contest.J Our day for' house cleaning after the carnival. CThe only trouble was that it didn't take longer to straighten things up.j We seniors got shot today. fCamera is sure to be broken now.j Have Thanksgiving vacation. Not Bad! The day we shouldn't have went to school. After all, the roads were drifted. Lost game with Remington. Score 22-37. Didn't have school on account of roads, but I guess the teachers thought it was time for another vacation. Christmas Program called off because the roads slip all over the place. Eh? The teachers sure wanted a vacation awfully bad fha can't help it cause we're so nwan we get on their nerves.j Just Christmas Day. What did Santa bring you? Students are getting lonesome for the teachers. The day people try to think they can see something different by staying up till after midnight. Mr. Puett's paddle disappears.
