While the judges were making their decisions, the Early the second semester an ice-skating party was enjoyed at Virginia Atkinsonls home. After skating awhile, the guests went up to the cabin, where they roasted weiners and danced. - This has been a big money making year for the sophomores. With the cooperation of Mr. Puett in getting candy for them and the help of their sponsor, Miss Jennett, they had a very prosperous year. They received their class sweaters and the blue and white combination is stunningl Their class rings also arrived this year and they're very proud,of them. As this yearbook goes to press, they have made plans for, but have not yet taken, a business trip to Lafayette. On this trip they hope to visit banks, business offices, telegraph offices, hotels and other places they have studied about in general business and to get some practical experience in some of the things that are rather new to them, as using a dial tele- phone, wiring home for money, tippingwaitresses, riding B city bUS, etc- The following officers steered the class through the year: Ruby Dex- ter, presidentg Gene Stoeser, vice president, Faye Marie Pampel, treasurer, Howard Smith, secretaryg and Miss Jennett, sponsor. Now this year is almost done They're looking forward to two more years of fun. And with the teachers help, between their periods of play They hope to become geniuses some happy day. .- ,Q A- .t xi? iggaggsaak .JHRESEJ 4 Eff?
