It is an unpaid organization elected by voters of the school district. The picture below, taken in 1933. shows one of the early Boards who struggled with the problems of setting up a new school where there had been only separate district schools, of running a central school when there had been few central schools organized in the state. To these Boards of the past as well as our present Board, we extend a hearty thanks for all they have done.
