Monday evening we became Washington. Berlin Senior Class left 3, 1954, We made a stop Gettysburg Battlegrounds acquainted with downtown Tuesday we visited the Jefferson Memorial where a party picture was taken, drove over the Memorial Highway to Mount Vernon where we visited the Man- sion, Old and New Tombs and Gardens. In the after- noon we visited Alexandria seeing Christ Church where Washington worshipped, the George Washington Masonic Memorial on Shooter's Hill, Washington Air- port, Pentagon Building, Arlington National Cemetery, Curtis-Lee Mansion and the Lincoln Memorial. Wednesday we went to the Washington Monument Pan American Building, Hall of Americas Spanish Patio and the White House That afternoon we visited the Franciscan Monastery, National Zoologi cal Park and Washington Cathedral Thursda5 we visited the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Smithsonian Institute, Old Museum of Arts and Industries Roosevelt and Ward African Exhibits Capitol Building, Supreme Court and Library of Con gress Friday morning we had open for shopping and then we left for home he had a very engovable trip, but were glad to return home wg!-VT 'Wx W A, W1 m 'X , W Mtftf M2 szfyci , V Y. b u ' , , l - v o , -4 TNISW F f ,N . .
