. '--va , .. . Cont'd from page 16 Large audiences enjoyed Onions in the Stew and the exciting Alumni Game. The Yellow Jackets ended in second place thanks to their talent and the cheering of the cheerleaders captained by Rozzie Hayes. Bob Hanely captured the office of senior president. Other officers were Ann Martin, vice- presidentg corresponding secretary, Diane Pulverg recording secretary, Tony Marinog and treasurer, Judy Carey. The class also chose two Student Coun- cil members, Butch Machowski, and Ann Martin, who became president of the council. About the sarne time, senior pictures were taken Although we enjoyed buying and trading them our parents felt a little different about it. Again this year Sheila Garbus won second prize at the C.S.P.A Soon work began on the '59 T. A.P. drive. George McCannon coped the State Chairmanship while Diane Pulver and Sheila Garbus were county and local chairmen respectively. Our last year at Gil- bert was filled with wonderful memories and events, and before we knew it June had arrived. Class night, another exciting prom, and of course graduation. These activities concluded our four wonderful years at Gilbert and these memories will remain upmost in our minds forever. Page 18

For it is the job of these students to help gain a closer relationship with the faculty and to get the seniors to work together for a successful year. It takes team work to plan graduation, the banquet, the class picnic, and fund raising activities for the class gift. The top -ranking student in the class of '59 is Brian Dunn with a 93. 62 average. He is followed by Carol Sue Chapman with 91. 91 average. The other six highest students are William Dyer, 89. 995 Corrine O'Brien, 89. 48g Patricia Hunt, 89. 42g Sheila Garbus, 88. 96, Daniel Ostapko, 88. 96g and Rich- ard Zirnmerman, 88.45.
