MCGRATH Principal To the Seniors of the Class of '65: As you depart from these hal- lowed halls you face a world which can be viewed either as one of abound- ing confusion, interminable chaos, and spiritual decayg or one of stirring challenges, exciting enterprises, and positive good. The choice is yours to make. Our hope is that we have, in a small way, directed you toward the latter viewpoint. May I, in be- half of the administration and staff, wish each and everyone of you suc- cess and good fortune in whatever endeavors you may try. MR. COWART S uperintendent I take great pride in having served Gilbert schools for the past three years I've been here. We've made several steps forward. Of course, the greatest step has been the new high school, which we've been working toward for three years. With the new facilities, we'll be more able to meet the needs of the students. We're looking forward to the opening of the new facilities for the 1965 school year.

Through them, the need for a new high school and gymnasium was recognized by the com- munity. A bond was passed, and, after a slight delay, con- struction was begun. The students and teachers of Gilbert High wish to extend their gratitude for all the time, worry, and effort they have spentg it is greatly appreciated by all.
