Their members have practiced faithfully and the results can be heard in their fine music. Our band, this year, has played at all of the home games and at several pep meetings. We had the privilege of being the first 1 Gilbert band to perform in our new gymnasium. Two forma- tions were executed by the band during the Homecoming - Dedication game: formed an and then marched into a G , HL' 0 .E y L. A' Some of the band members formed a pep band and played at the out-of-town games. They also played at a few of the last minute pep meetings. All of the members in this group are girls. The orchestra entertained between acts of the class plays and E also played at the Christmas program. As in the past they will E. be featured at the graduation exercises. 5.2 Through the endless efforts of Mr. Frillici both organiza- tions have gained much recognition throughout this last year.
