CARL D. GUM B. S, in Education S. E. Mo. State College A. M. University of Mo. Columbia University New York, New York. Mr. Gum came to Gideon as high school principal in 1948. He ha formerly seriyed as principal of the Nevada Hi School, and as principal os the Independence High School, before going to Merriam, Kansas as princigal of the Shawnee- Mission High Sc ool. Most gf his raduate work was done in t e ?ield of secondary education. Since Mr. Gum assumed his duties as principal of the Gideon High School, a number of new courses have been added to the course of study. The activity program has been reorganized so that the home room is an integral part of the school's administration.
