Mrs. Loleda Allen, Mrs. Gladys Wilhelm, Mrs. Beatrice Vaughn, Mrs. Lula Stinnett, Mrs. Fern Sparrowks, Mrs. Betty Bridges, Mrs. Mildred Lipsmeyer, Mrs. Leah McDaniel, and Mrs. Lillian Sparrowks. The lunch program was organized in 1945, with Mrs. Mart Baker as manager. A Federal subsidy of six cents per plate, coupled with a limited quantity of groceries received from the Commodity Credit Cor- poration, enables the school to serve a wholesome lunch for twenty cents. A half pint of whole milk is served with each lunch. This lunch room is one of the largest and best equipped in the state. About six hundred fifty pupils are regular customers. Provision is made for students to wash their hands in warm running water before entering the lunch room. The food is well prepared and served in an efficient manner. The lunch program lasts from 11:10 a.m. to 12:45 .m. P
