s eund daughter... School is filled with many sounds. Perhaps one of the most varied and interesting is laughter. There are the squeals of delight from young children, the more mature giggles of young teenagers, the chuckles, cackles, the howls, and grins, hysterical convulsions, roars, the rib-tickling, side-splitting laughter of happy young people at work and in their leisure. Whether we laugh at ourselves, at others, at the odd or the peculiar, or simply at nothing we do ourselves good, for laughter is the wealth of living.

Friendship is working together, playing to- ments, and exchanging ideas. In a school like gether, relaxing together, discussing, sharing, G.H.S. we have the advantage of knowing giving, taking, caring, trusting, believing in, most of our classmates. Knowing and under- hoping for, living with, and sometimes even standing those around us is as important as being angry at. We share experiences: eating anything else in an academic curriculum, for lunch together, talking over problems, being this is how we learn to make and to be true in clubs together, enjoying intimate mo- friends.
