Picture not available for E. Nehls. Dolores Rapp, Kathy Holcomb, Bob Kayden and Steve Simcox were delegates from Gibsonburg High School to attend the annual Buckeye Girls and Boys State, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. The purpose of the Buckeye State is to train young people for the American way of government. The students were selected on their scholrship, leadership, mental alertness, and self-reliance. The students learned about our county, city, and state governments. All agreed it was worth the time and effort spent on making this annual meet- ing a success.
