We gained several more members when we started our soohomore year, and had a bigger class than ever before. The class roll consisted of Paul Bates,Glenn McKain, Loren Roorda, Merrill Shepherd, Robert Vail, Enid Kitzman, Ger- aldine Fox,Mary Slaven, Pearl Ste1nke,Donna Jane McDowell, Donna Jean Molyneux, Edwin Allison, Shirlee Cooper and Ida May Strasser. During the first semester, Mr. E. C. Evans, Mrs. Keith Wymore, and Mr. Ernest Smith were our instruct- ors, but Mrs. Wymore and Mr. Smith were renlaoed by Mrs. Carolus and Mrs. Heifner at the beginning of the second se- mester. Maybe we d1dn't learn much the second semester, but it save us many things to remember. When we returned in the fall to begin our Junior year we found that we had lost Paul Bates to Deep River, Loren Rcorda to Lynnville, Enid Kitzman to What Cheer, and Ida May Strasser to Emnoria, Kansas. This left in our class Glenn McKa1n, Merrill Shenherd, Robert Vail, Mary Slaven, Geraldine Fox, Pearl Steinke, Donna Jane McDowell, Donna Jean Mo1yneux,Edw1n Allison, and Shirlee Cooner. Accord- ina to customgwe nurchased class r1ngs,oresented the class play, WReady-Made Fsmilyn and gave a WCandlel1ghtn bannuet for the seniors to start them on their way. Of course, We were all thinking of the time when we would be on the re- ceiving instead of the giving end of the banquet. Our teachers during our junior year were Miss Viola Watson,Mrs. Carl Moore, Mies Pauline Riggs, and Mr. P. E. Pyle. We began our senior year with the same members as we had the year before,as we have neither lost nor gained any- one. Therefore, the graduating class consists of Shirlee Cooner, Edwin Allison, Donna Jean Molyneux, Donna Jane Mc- Dowell, Pearl Steinke, Mary Slaven, Geraldine Fox, Robert Vail, Merrill Shepherd, and Glenn McKa1n. Our teachers were Miss Viola Watson, Miss Vera Longwell, Mr. Gene Burk- hart, and Mr. P. E. Pyle. we presented the class play WAunt Sally from Cherry Valleyu. All the girls made the first team in basketball. Glenn McKa1n was the only boy in our class who played basketball this year. Glenn and Bob were both active in baseball. As we go out into the world, our school days will not be forgotten. Many haooy memories of them will remain with us forever.
