SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1955, four little children crossed the threshold of the Gibson schoolhouse and began their edu- cation. They were Edwin Allison, Paul Bates, Paul Richman, and Mary Slaven. Q We lost Paul Bates and Paul Richman, but gained Dona and Kenneth Ferns and Pearl Steinke at the beginning of our second year of school. Thus, our class roll.was: Edwin Allison, Pearl Stelnke, Mary Slaven, and Dona and Kenneth Ferns. Miss Josephine Galbraith was our teacher during out three years in the primary room. We gained several classmates and when we returned to continue our education in the third grade we found that we now had seven students in our class. They were: Edwin Allison, Pearl Stelnke, Mary Slaven, Donna Jane McDowell, Donna Jean Molyneux, Shirley Nanke, and Robert Graham. We gained Clayton Meeks and David Ahrens in the four- th grade, but lost David again before beginning in the fifth grade. The class roll for the fifth grade was: Ed- win Allison, Pearl Steinke, Mary Slaven, Donna Jane Mc- Dowell, Donna Jean Molyneux, Robert Graham, Clayton Meeks, and Glenn McKa1n. Miss Ada Cover, now Mrs. Lowell Neis- wander was our instructor during our years in the inter- mediate room. Starting in the junior high we were nine: Edwin A11- ison, Pearl Steinke, Mary Slaven, Donna Jean Molyneux, Donna Jane McDowell, Robert Graham, Clayton Meeks, Glenn McKa1n, and Paul Bates. In our three years in that room we had as instructors in the sixth srade, Mr. Dale Pace, in the seventh grade, Mr. Lowell Robertson, and in the eighth grade, Miss Velva Parker. We lost Robert Graham, Clayton Meeks and Donna Jane McDowell and gained Ida May Strasser and Enid Kitzman, so those who received their eighth grade diplomas were Edwin Allison, Pearl Steinke, Mary Slaven, Ida May Strasser, Donna Jean Molyneux, Enid Kitzman, Paul Bates, and Glenn MCK8 in 0 We entered high school the next year feeling rather small and insignificant. Our class was the same except for several new additions. The new members were: Gerald- ine Fox, Robert Vail, Loren Roorda, and Shlrlee Cooner. It was the task of Miss Norma Moore, now Mrs. Ray Gasperi, Mr. J. E. Hewitt, and Mr. Ernest Smith to try to teach us something. Several of our members were on the basketball team. We oresented s three-ect slay uCrrshinv Societyn under the direction of Kiss Moors.
