REINCE Not too many years ago, an eighth grade education was considered sufficient educa- tion for most young people entering our competitive business world. However, this has changed radically until now a high school education is thought to be the mini- mum education necessary for a successful, full life. Why is a high school education of such importance? In our high school years we form habits, attitudes and skills which are basic throughout life. Our schools can pro- vide opportunities for each student to de- velop these traits to the fullest degree possible. This imposes an obligation on the school to provide these opportunities for develop- ment. However, it also demands the cooper- ation and effort of each student that he attains a good high school education. We earnestly hope that each graduate can look back at his high school years with a feeling of deep satisfaction for a iob well done.
