An unheard of thing - school day after Thanksgiving. Literary program. Not a howling suce cess. Everybody went home for Christmas. Everybody glad to see everybody else. Another day off. Everybody got a ride to school but the teachers. Grand and glorious skating. The Hrst High School party. At Ficlit- ner's, Sister Bay. Orvis' sixteenth birthday. Party at Andersons. Freshman Glass learns Algebra rules after school. Great fun practicing for play. Dress rehearsal.
