THE 1973 YEARBOOK TO . . . . . . someone who is truly a dedicated ecologist in her own right, and inspired us to rake an active interest in preserving the environment and its resources. At a time when most people are content merely to express concem over the state our world is in, she made us aware of the importance of doing something now. We have her energy and perseverance to thank for the pond, Environmental Improvement Day, and the fish movement study. For these things and her efforts as a biology teacher we are grateful . . . but while we learned a lot of biology, we also learned that once she has her mind made up you can't stop . . . THE SENIOR CLASS DEDICATES . . . . . someone who has done so much for so many, whether it be prodding sluggish minds into an awareness of culture, or helping us to understand ourselves and therefore others. It was for her that many of us worked all night on our research papers, and although our writing wasn't always topdrawer we did learn a lot. As our class advisor of three years, she gave us her time and energy. Her originality made our class and its projects stand out as both different and special.
