l l H. EDGAR RIEGLE Superintendent In this country we believe in equality of opportunity for every person. The free society in which we live can- not work or exist unless everyone in it gets a fair chance to develop whatever abilities he has. Your community has given you that chance. Your education should con- tinue beyond high school and it can continue even though you do not attend formal classes beyond high school. In any work you attempt to do you will find that you need facts and balanced judgment. You have had an opportunity to acquire these. I hope you have profited from this chance, that you will continue to learn, and that your experiences after high school will be con- structively helpful to you and beneficial to the com- munities in which you will live. H. EDGAR RIEGLE G. W. LEFEVER Principal There are unlimited opportunities for young people who complete their high school education this year. Whether you go into the labor market or to college, your success will depend on your attitude toward doing the best job possible. More scholarships to colleges and jobs in industry are available to the young people than ever before. The people who are chosen will be those who have achieved in school and are qualified to compete for these rewards. Our best wishes go with you. G. W. LEFEVER page eleven
