Hutchison, President. , To the members of the School Board the boys and girls of Gettysburg High School owe much for the educational facilities provided for their benefit. To keep apace with educational practices and to keep the budget balanced is not an easy matter. The youth of Gettysburg are fortunate to have capable men on the board to direct their educational affairs. The personnel of the board was changed early in the year when Mr. Edgar C. Moser, one of our esteemed friends, died from the effects of a heart condition. This vacancy was filled by the appointment of Mr. Charles M. Sheely, who will serve until the first Monday in December.
