Getz, current president of the Music Educatofs National Conference, and under the student leadership of Richard Hulbrink performs at special chapel services and concerts through- out the year. Composed of approximately 72 dedicated students the college choir is primarily a performance and touring group. This year the choir per- formed a series of Sunday concerts in the area, including performances in Washington DC, Baltimore M.D., and Lancaster PA. During the J-term break the group traveled south performing in North Carolina, Georgia, Ken- tucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The highlight of the year was the 16-day European Concert Tour. The college choir traveled to Germany, Italy, Swit- zerland, Liechtenstein, France, and Belgium. The group performed concerts in various cathedrals throughout Europe including the Salzburg Cathedral, the Wilten Basilica and an Alpine Village. The tour culminated in Paris where the choir performed an afternoon concert in the Notre Dame Cathedral. 29

30 The Chapel Choir, under the direc- tion of Mr. Michael Matsinko, pro- vides musical leadership for Sunday chapel services by leading the hymns and liturgy, and by providing weekly anthems. In addition, the choir com- bines with the college choir in per- forming the annual Christmas con- cert, and this year the two choirs performed for the High School Teacheris choral reading session held on campus. The choir spent 3 days on tour performing in Easton, Pa., Mur- ray Hill N.J., and Elizabeth,NJ.F01- lowing the tour, the Chapel Choir concluded the year by presenting their annual Spring concert in Christ Chapel. WOMENiS CHORUS
