'7 Not only Rosencrantz and Gi'lden- v. stern passed away that year. As KDR. '- drifted into oblivion, so did the old, Bullet Hole. The campus munch and a gathering spot was enriched anew . as was its home's name transforma- tion from SUB to CUB. Even the old library set-up had died. Massive re-t arrangements were made to com- pose an atmosphere more con- ducive to study. tBut how many of really went to Schmucker for such a noble endeavorn But we did invest our hearts in a number of things. One of the year's most outstanding efforts was ex.- pended by the spectrum of individ- uals who advocated changes in the visitation policy. Although many of us enjoyed the anachronistic ways of Gettysburg College, hours regu- lation gained little support. The strong reaction against the policy led a number of concerned students to peacefully parade around Penn- sylvania Hall. Rains came, but the students stayed. A particularly significant Gettys- burg night was'shared by millions on national television. Many of us, r who could not find any time to A uul . 11v .
