Semor Class H1story Our ch1ef a1m durmg our two years IH Gettysburg Academy has been to pursue our studles and to complete our work satls factorlly Every one has done hls best and the many names on the Honor Roll show proof of our success We are proud of our record There 1S perhaps no one IH the class who has not at some tlme durmg the past two years murmured or even rebelled agalnst the work YVh1Cl'l we have recelved but wh1ch one of us yy ould be w1ll1ng to sacrifice the results of thls work? We have been dlllgent Thls dlllgence demanded a reactlon wh1ch we found lll the secondary interest of our class Wlth the vantage po1nt of SBHIOFS we look back Wlth amusement prlde and sat lsfactlon upon the past two years Most of our class members entered Gettysburg Academy 1n the Fall of 1920 There are sever 11 ln the class who entered the year before and have been here three years We left our re spect1ve homes comlng to Gettysburg to a strange place to a place vyhlch most of us had never seen before The rules wh1ch yye lmmedlately had to l1ve up to the strangeness of the bulld 1ngs and above all the many strange neva faces almost made us tremble at first However we soon became acquamted and wlth the help of the klnd professors we soon learned to like Gettys burg Academy and 1n fact the ent1re tovyn The year soon sped by and when the last day of school 1n June came we were re luctant to leave We b1d good bye to our many new frlends ex pressmg wishes to see them agam IH the comlng F 111 On September 21 when school reopened we found most of the Senlor members had returned Ten new students enrolled as Senlors brlnglng the total to thlrtv five Deslrxng to make thlg a successful year ln the Way of organlzatlon the class lmme d1ately got together and elected the followlng class officers Raymond E Agnew presldent Bemamm F Hoffman v1ce pre sldent Raymond E Doyle secretary and treasurer Another meetlng was held at wh1ch tlme the class rlng was declded upon At the same meetmg the class declded to publish the Osoga the fourth ISSUQ of the Academy year book The staff was selected and has worked dlllgently to make thls the best publlca Page 1,7 0 e L- - c L L L L. .
