The Key Club is simply an organization of the Key Boys from the Sopho- more, Junior and Senior classes. lt is under the sponsorship of the Kiwanis Club and functions in much the same manner. The objects of the Key Club are: 1. To develop initiative and leadership. 2. To provide experience in living and working together. 3. To serve the school and community. 4. To cooperate with the school principal. 5. To prepare for useful citizenship. Each year the Key Club has the pleasant task of selecting the Key Club Sweetheart. This year after a close vote this honor was bestowed upon lovely Ann 0'lVlalley and she was crowned at the ball given in her honor. Four equally pretty Keyettes were chosen to make up her court. They were Rosemary Arias, Carolyn Conrey, Lois Caufield and Berna- dine Lallo. The Key Club wishes to extend a note of thanks to the faculty, our Kiwanis sponsors and to the students of Gesu for the cooperation it has received this year. lts members will always strive to live up to the Key Club motto: s'Better Citizens Today, A Better World Tomorrow. -We build too.
