DEDICATED TO MRS. POLLY MURPHY Polly Adelle Lewis Murphy was born on a homestead in South Dakota, August 21. She and her husband, Benjamin Vinson Murphy, deceased, have two daughters, Mary Linda and Kathleen Elizabeth, and three grandchildren: Catherine Ann, Emilie Diane, and Jonathan Vinson. Mrs. Murphy graduated from Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts, Chickasha, has studied at the University Jaime Balmes, Saltillo, Mexico and the Instituto Allende, San Miguel Allende, Mexico. She had done graduate work in Spanish at the University of Oklahoma: Madrid, Spain, under the auspices of Bryn Mawr College; and Southwestern University at Weatherford. Mrs. Murphy has taught English, Speech and Spanish for five years at Geronimo. She is sponsor of the Eighth Grade, Spanish Club, and Spanish Honor Society. She lives in Lawton, with Fleur, a very pampered poodle. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Murphy for being such a wonderful and dedicated teacher these past five years. 2
