AH 954 Geronimo High School Geronimo, Oklahoma Dedication To Mr. Hastings, whose outstanding ability, cheerful- ness, and untiring efforts in our behalf have done so much to make our school days enjoy- able, we proudly dedicate this annual. ■ Administration We commend you upon your four years work while in high school. The pictorial his- tory of these years you now have before you. Our wish is that each of you may go on to the success which you have set as your goal, and enjoy happiness as your life unfolds. May your life be as happy and successful as your school days have been, and may these school-day memories serve to keep your la- bors directed firmly toward your goals. You are to be congratulated on the excel- lent work you have done in preparing this years annual. It has taken many hours of extra work, but there have been no complaints on the part of the students. This certainly indicates the high caliber of you students and shows that you have developed traits of leadership and perseverance. Many of these activities such as the com- piling of the annual, are the first opportunities you have out of the classroom to show just how much you have developed in the past years. In the years to come this annual will be one of the few things you possess that will increase in value. These small things that seem unim- portant now will be the most cherished mem- ories of your youth as you grow older. ■J,: -.XfT  S- •'• • ' • : BESSIE SANMANN B.S. O. C. W. This was the first girls team in the history of Geronimo school to compete in the semi-finals of the regional tournament. The Boy's team, though not as strong in their class, were defeated only four times by class C teams and won the District tournament by up-setting the two seeded tournament favorites. These two teams will be long remembered in the annals of Geronimo High School. Graduating Seniors who were members of these teams were: Edward Bard, Bob McCuiston, Floyd Tenopir, Lavanda Blackburn, Bertha DeVine, Myrilyn Miller, and Lola Mae Ray. Baseball Left to right.
