Text from Pages 1 - 96 of the 1952 volume:

“MEMORIES” Looking back to our school days That’s when it all began. When we would all get in trouble And lessons just wouldn’t soak in. There were days of fret and worry And days of happiness too There were days of fun and pastime And there were the bad days too. But school passed on from day to day And time passed quickly away Now we are standing at life’s own door All our school days gone on before. Through this uniting of districts, everlasting friendships have been established and this fine group of seniors have been molded into a hard- working, cooperative, intelligent, class of leaders. If it is true, and I sincerely believe it is, that our school has reached its highest level of achievement this year, we can contribute much of the success to this senior class because they have taken part in every worthwhile undertaking that has been attempted this year. The oldest members of this class are Sondra Beznoskia, Lyndal Malone, and Barbara Elkins who began their education in this school. Sammy Blackburn joined them during their second year of schooling. In 1947,Otba Jean Ray, Florence Sims, Pete McCuiston, Ramona and Dorothy Pennington, and Alice Goble joined the class, coming to this school from outlying districts. Since that time, Patsy Coosewoon, Delores Zachary, and Berdie and Bertha! Emery have left the class. In most cases we would offer our continued help to you members of this graduating class. We would offer to you our guidance and leadership when a need arises. But with the capabilities that you posess we must reverse the policy and look to you for leadership instead of you looking to us. We are certain that you will carry out your job of being a good citizen in, the future in that quiet efficient manner that you ha ve displayed here at Geronimo High School. John C.
