CLASS HISTORY IN 1945 SIXTEEN GREEN FRESHMEN ENTERED HIGHSCHOOL. SINCE THEN WE GAINED HERMAN PAYNE, LEE LANGFORD, VIRGINIA MILLER, May Helen Nelson, Edwin Pendland, Mabel Lamb, Gwen Wolf, and Wesley Mihecoby. We have lost Don Brooks, Archie Flemings, Walter Frost, Redell McNeil, Junior Wallace, Elena Estep, Herman Payne, Lee Langford, Verginia Miller and Wesley Mihecoby. Mr. Albert Watson was the superintendent part of our freshman year. After he left Mr. Fred Zachary became superintendent. Mrs. Johnnie McMichael was our sponsor during our Freshman year. Mr. and Mrs. Zachary during our Sophomore year. During our junior year Miss Venna lee Wallace was our SPONSOR AND Mr. HERBERT PlNC WAS THE SUPERINTENDENT. WE HAD FUN WORKING ON THE JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET. JAY COX GAVE THE ADDRESS TO THE SENIOR CLASS, AND BILL LEWIS GAVE THE RESPONSE. Betty Davison gave the senior prophecy. Jo Ann Rhoads gave THE TRIBUTE TO THE TEACHERS. WE HAD THE BANQUET IN THE Geronimo High School Gymnasium. Our theme was Lil Abner. We entered our senior year with eight girls and seven boys. We lost three boys during the year. Our superintendent, Walter Silvey, was also our sponsor. We have thoroughly en- joyed working with him throughout the year. Since we entered highschool we have been seriously think- ing OF A SENIOR TRIP. INSTEAD OF BEING WISE AND SAVINGOUR MONEY, WE FOOLISHLY SPENT IT. THIS YEAR WE ARE WORKING OUR FINGERS TO THE BONE AND ARE GETTING BULGING FIGURES SELLING CANDY. We have enjoyed working with each and every teacher THROUGHOUT OUR HIGHSCHOOL DAYS. WE WISH TO TAKE A LITTLE SPACE NOW AND THANK EVERY OF THEM FOR THEIR COOPERATION. WE ALSO WISH TO THANK EACH OF THE PARENTS FOR THEIR CO- OPERATION DURING OUR HIGHSCHOOL YEARS.
