Ceronimo, OkLa. QM i3 FOREWORD The Senior Class of 1943 wants to take this opportunity in thanking all those who bought ads and cooperated with the Blue Jay Staff in mak- ing possible a 1943 Annual. We also want to express our appreciation to our sponsor, M. Herbert Pine, and our previous sponsors. Miss Venna Lee Wallace and Mrs. Johnnie McMichael, who has so devotedly given their time, energy, and interest to us in the past two years. Last, though words are inadequate, we would like to thank our parents, who in reality, de- serve the credit for our achievements. If this Blue Jay brings to someone, in future years, some measure of happiness through the tender memories of days spent in G.H.S., recol- lections of difficult lessons mastered, the plea- sures of school activities, and the unmeasured value of association, then our goal will have been reached. As a tie that binds those who are yet to come and those who have gone before, we pre- STAFF Editor-in-Chief . . . Editor ............. Business Manager . . Ass't Business Mgr. . Snapshot Editor . . . Mr. Herbert Pine Dear Seniors: It has been a pleasure to have associated and worked with the fine Senior Class we have had this year. I want to con- gratulate you Seniors for making the first Annual we have had here at Geronimo, a success. I want to say Seniors, you have your life work ahead of you. Through hard work and determination you will reach your goal. I hope your training the last four years is a step toward your goal in life. It is an honor that I have had a small part in your training as High School students. I hope that you never for- get the fundamental principles which we have tried to teach you. Always remember there is happiness and success ahead of you. It is now up to you to attain that goal. To those that are going into bigger fields of training and service, Good Luckl When we meet again I know that you will have attained your ambitions.
