On Wednesday, 19 April, twelve crewmembers from USS GERMANTOWN (LSD-42) participated in COMUSNAVPHIL COMSEVENTHFLT Pro- ject Handclasp painting project. Together these men painted a three-classroom building that last saw fresh paint 13 years ago at San Marcelino Zam- bales R. P. The three classrooms, the outside walls, trim, posts, and shutters, took a total of thirty- three gallons of white, and nine gallons of yellow paint. The directors and volunteers at Kakilingan Elementary School were very enthusiastic about the help and expressed deep gratitude to GER- MANTOWN. The end result was an attractive building more conducive to learning. GERMANTOWN. always ready to promote U.S. goodwill lives up to her motto: Follow in our footsteps. li 1 ' V ' iZ
