The Rhine Stan Mike Lamb's tremendous qualities have been an asset during the four years he has attended Germantown. He is amiable, outgoing, and very intelligent. Mike placed in the Top Twenty Schoiars and is a member of National Honor Society. Belng ac- tive in FCA, CLICK. and his church also broaden his personality. Howard Moss' fellow students voted him Most Athletic for a reason. He has received several honors for his abilities in football such as one of The Commercial Appeal's Top Twenty, the All- Shelby Metro team. and All District. Added to these are All- State. and finally, probably his biggest honor AiI-American. He is truly deserving of membership into the GHS Hall of Fame. Athletic, intelligent, and friendly. Forest Nabors is certainly wor- thy of his place in the Hall of Fame. He has been active in his church youth group and involved in community sports. At school Forest has been a valuable member of the Baseball and Football teams. Simply put. Forest is an ail around great guy. As President of Germantown's Executive Student Council, Bet- sy Sayre has proven to be a true leader. Her friendliness and en- thusiastic spirit have contributed to her success. As well as be- ing voted Most Likely to Succeed by her classmates, Betsy is President of the Tennessee Association of Student Councils. She has made tremendous contributions to Germantown High School. As Valedictorian of our school, Emy Tan has accomplished many goals while she has been at Germantown. She placed tenth in the Memphis area in Math in Advanced Topics and par- ticipated in Girls' State and in the Science Bowl. Emy's other ac- tivities have included being the busines manager of Footprints and active in Model UN. and the Vanderbilt Summer Challenge. Julie Todd's academic and athletic qualities have added to OHS in many ways She is a member of both the Beta Club and Na. tional Honor Society and has won many honors for her taients in Basketbail and Volleyball. In the former, Julie was named All District and AIIeRegionaI. In Voileybali she was named All- District MVP. and most important, AileState MVP. She is an asset this school can truly be proud of.

His high ambition and hardworking attitude make him a favorite of all his teachers; his friendly style makes him preferred among hIS friends Being a National Merit Semi'tinalist and a participant in Boys' State have added to Greg Blumenthal's reputation as an ex- cellent student He attended the Governor's School for the Talented and Gifted and has received top honors for his com puter and writing skills. He has been a member of SGA since his Freshman year Greg also scored the highest out of forty-twc schools on the written scuence test at the Science Bowl held at UT Martin BeSIdes being Mrv Germantown, Marshall Boswell has some very impressive credentials He was voted class favorite and Best All Around by his classmates and was among those who helped the football team win the State Championship, However, Marshallls most important contribution to Germantown High School has been the exceptional job that he did as one of the editors of the Pitchtork Always ready for any challenge. Samantha Cox proves to be a tremendously valuable student 0! Germantown High School, Samantha excels in academics as well as athletics, for which she Is most known. She was a member of this year's dynamic golf team which tied for third place in the state championship. She also started for the girls basketball team which has once again placed In the top ten. Her exceptional athletic ability won her the honor of t'Athlete of the Week? With all of the activities Davud Dunning has been involved in this year. he has proven to be a great asset to our school. He has done volunteer work at the Memphis Pink Palace museum, par- ticipated in Focus Memphis, and received an outstanding ser- VIce award. He was a participant in Boysl State and a National Merit Semi'Finalistv He is very active around school, being Presi dent of the Senior Class and sports editor of the Pitchfork. Always willing to lend a helping hand. Robert Hawkes is courteous and friendly to everyone. Robert is conscientious in his school work, and always exemplifies good citizenship.
