His high ambition and hardworking attitude make him a favorite of all his teachers; his friendly style makes him preferred among hIS friends Being a National Merit Semi'tinalist and a participant in Boys' State have added to Greg Blumenthal's reputation as an ex- cellent student He attended the Governor's School for the Talented and Gifted and has received top honors for his com puter and writing skills. He has been a member of SGA since his Freshman year Greg also scored the highest out of forty-twc schools on the written scuence test at the Science Bowl held at UT Martin BeSIdes being Mrv Germantown, Marshall Boswell has some very impressive credentials He was voted class favorite and Best All Around by his classmates and was among those who helped the football team win the State Championship, However, Marshallls most important contribution to Germantown High School has been the exceptional job that he did as one of the editors of the Pitchtork Always ready for any challenge. Samantha Cox proves to be a tremendously valuable student 0! Germantown High School, Samantha excels in academics as well as athletics, for which she Is most known. She was a member of this year's dynamic golf team which tied for third place in the state championship. She also started for the girls basketball team which has once again placed In the top ten. Her exceptional athletic ability won her the honor of t'Athlete of the Week? With all of the activities Davud Dunning has been involved in this year. he has proven to be a great asset to our school. He has done volunteer work at the Memphis Pink Palace museum, par- ticipated in Focus Memphis, and received an outstanding ser- VIce award. He was a participant in Boysl State and a National Merit Semi'Finalistv He is very active around school, being Presi dent of the Senior Class and sports editor of the Pitchfork. Always willing to lend a helping hand. Robert Hawkes is courteous and friendly to everyone. Robert is conscientious in his school work, and always exemplifies good citizenship. Ac- tive in his church and choir. he Is PreSident of the Senior High UMYF. Robert has also participated in various community sports He is truly an all-around, great guy! ...-..nn nnlhh
