E E E The Computer ClubiThe Writers Guild The Computer Club is a new club organized this year to promote the advancement of computers to Germantown High School students. These students were selected to participate in the computer science program due to their achievements in other mathematical and science courses. The club participated in such activities as the UT-Martin State Computer Contest, various field trips to computer labs, and fund- raising projects. The sponsor of the club is Mr. Robert Allen. This is his first year teaching computer science, taking Mr. W. Watkin's place. He was promoted to the school board. The Galaxies The Galaxies The National Honor Society is an elite club made up of students who are inducted into the club because of their outstanding abilities in leader- ship, scholastics, character, and ser- vice to the school. HHS has several projects each year, the major being the selling of Santa grams at Christmas time. The group is also known for its unusual induction ceremony held each spring in the auditorium whose members write and perform skits to announce the new members.
