FPA'IIvnt Senior Hall of Fame Helpful, cooperative. friendly, and active all describe Shell Berry. Shell has made the most of his years at Germantown. He has lettered in a varsity sport, played for school bands, and managed to keep his grades hight Shell put forth the effort; now he can reap the rewards. l'Success doesn't come to those who wait and it doesn't wait for anyone to come to it. uBlessed is the peacemaker, not the con- querer. Greg Dennis with all his experience in oratory has never had trouble keeping the peace. It takes patience, understanding, and a mature way of thinking. Greg holds these qualities and more. He has shown his talent in broadcasting through Germantown's Cable TV station. Greg is a friend of his fellow students and always is willing to give of his time or himself. SHELL BERRY GREG DENNIS An oath demands the truth; the whole truth: and nothing but the truth. Why should there be less when the oath is not administered? Honesty is an important part in the life of Pagie Hankins. She is an honor student, ac- tive club president, and trusted friend. Her many attributes won her a place at Girls' State. Paige shows her fellow students she cares about them by always helping out when she can in any situation. This kind of respon- sible leadership makes her the success she is. Toy Etta Harris, quiet and helpful, will be remembered with a smile. Toy is friendly and has an open mind. It is doubtful Toy ever said an unkind or unfair thing about another human being. 'Criticism of another's weakness or fault is seldom practiced by suc- cessful people. This quality makes Toy a real winner. PAIGE HANKINS TOY ETTA HARRIS HAmbition is the last infirmity of noble minds. Martha Lawhon has sincere, heart- felt sympathy and a listening ear to anyone who needs her and is happiest when she is helping someone. She has am- bition, but she does not put selfish desires above what she knows is right. No matter what the challenge, she meets it head-on with full intention of conquering and suc- ceeding. Martha is dedicated, dependable, and hard working as proved by her ex- cellent performance as editor of the year- book, Footprints. True sincerity or greatness sends for no witness. Fred Luthardt lives that line. Fred is one of the best here at German- town, but he never tries to monopolize the spotlight. He quietly acknowledges com- pliments and always has a friendly phrase. Fred is a member of Memphis Youth Sym- phony as well as being a top scholar. MARTHA LAWHON

Featutes . Selected by the Faculty iiAllured to brighter worlds, and led the way. Sharla Jolly is a sincere, effective, and talented individual whose devotion to those things she believes in serves as a shining light to others. She is both a doer and a thinker. She is an honor student who has many vary- ing talents. She is the kind of person German- town is proud to call its own. HOne today is worth two tomorrows. Ginger Teague is not one to waste her time idly daydreaming while the present is happening. Ginger's quick wit and exuberant nature are known through Germantown hails. She's the captain of the football cheerleading squad and always wears that spirit even when out of uniform. Her cheerleading ability was recognized by her being selected All Mid South Cheerleader for the past two years, as well as her leading the cheerleaders to the na- tional cheerleading competition in Orlando, Florida. SHARLA JOLLY GINGER TEAGUE A willing helper does not wait till he is ask- ed. Susan Vaught lives her life by method. Susan, an excellent student, is always striv- ing to help either her fellow students or facule ty. Giving service above and beyond the call of duty is normal behavior for Susan Vaught. ttA wise man in a crowded street wins his way with gentleness, not rudely pushing aside the stranger that is in his path. This method seems to be working for Mark Wells. Mark has always been friendly and willing to lend a hand to help others. He is the editor of the school newspaper, The Pitchfork. Mark has handled that responsibility with ease. His easy going nature will be a plus for him in the future. SUSAN VAUGHT MARK WELLS In? em uLearn as if you were to live forever; live as if you were to die tomorrow. To have such a great mind in such a short time is amazing. Carey White has already achieved more than many people hope to accomplish in a lifetime. He is president of the senior class and has led his class with a flair unique to him. Carey makes the most of the present while still keeping his responsibilities in perspective. .s's 9 ii' ! HHirIIII' vy' Eric Willgohs, an outstanding scholar, is ac- tive in many organizations. He sets and achieves goals that others may try to emulate. The saying, Be sparing of advice by words, because a good example is the best sermon, truly applies to Eric. He ac- complishes much in a quiet, steady fashion. 4 .4, H411 .Au nuul AHut . CAREY WHITE ERIC WILLGOHS
