The purpose of TCA is to foster career awareness and preparation for the world of work. The TCA also develops leadership abilities through the election of officers. Civic and social activities are em- phasized. So far this year the TCA has sponsored a teacher appreciation day and the officers have attended a Leadership Development Conference at Memphis State University.
