C0111 mittee Qt' Ten The executive powers ot the school are vested in the Committee ot Ten. which consists of ten outstanding pupils from the three upper classes. As only tive boys and tive girls gain this distinction, it is a great honor to be a member ot this governing body. Only the most capable and trustworthy individuals are elected. The committee meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Under Mr. Strauss's amiable guidance they find little dillticulty in enforcing the laws ot the Senate and lceeping the student body a law-abiding group. This term the committee was led by Mildred Campbell as President and Robert Pim as Vice-President. Boosters The purpose of the Booster Organization is to create schooi spirit, anti to raise money to further the woric of Germantown High Schooi. The ciuh Consists oi ten Boosters, five iooys ami Five giris who are chosen from many appiicants at the end oi each term. They are under the exceiient guidance oi iwir. Bechtei. From time to time, this organization raises money hy seiiing huttons and A. A. Booics. The proceeds irom these saies go toward the Athietic Association, iaasicets for the neeciy at Christmas and Thanksgiving, ami two prizes oi five cioiiars each, which are given at each graduation for the hoy and giri oi the 12A ciass who have the highest averages. On iViemoriai Day, the ciuh seiis poppies for the benefit of the American Legion. Each term, a weeic is set aside hy the Boosters for the purpose oi' raising iiuncis to carry on their iline woric. At that time, a ciance is heici. This ciuh enjoys an importance equaiieci hy few schooi organizations, and is greatiy appreciated for its vaiuahie woric.
