We gave several parties and dances, among them a mixer at the beginning of the year at which we entertained all the girls of the high school. We attended some interesting county Girl Reserve meetings and youth conventions. We enjoyed the party the Hi-Y club gave for us. VICE-PRESIDENT MARJORIE PALLMAN . ..... SECRETARY MARIORIE SALYER ......................... ..... TREASURER We started our F. H. A. activities this year by selling refreshments Qt basketball games. Next we purchased attractive pins in the shape of spinning wheels for some of the members who wanted them. One Of our amusements this. year was our trip to Cincinnati to see the Boone County Ictmboree. We enjoyed Working with the F. F. A. in sponsoring the Easter Egg Hunt and in giving c1 banquet for parents. We decided to make an F. H. A, emblem of blue and gold for our club room. Future Farmers of America With the help of the Future Homemakers of America, we, the members of the Future Farmers of America, sponsored Ct Father and Son W Mother and Daughter Banquett We had Q Pest Hunt in which Thurston Hounshell won first place and Ralph Heitzl second place. Ward Lindenmuth and Donald Wallace entered the Public Speaking Contest! competing with students trom seven counties. Word Lindenmuth earned second place in this district contest, We held our annual Easter egg hunt with the F. H. A. on April 12 We have had a lull calendar with our bi-monthly meetings, 30
