Although he missed most of the soccer season. he substituted tor the position ot inside right, and in that position scored the winning goal in the Haverford game. Miclrey is strong on his'studies despite a two- month handicap-and tor all his talents in this line he has branched out into our social lite as well as playing a large role in our extra-curricular activities. Middie is u lrnoct-out. Whether it's her spic and span appearance or her rosy complexion we aren't quite sure. but we lilre the result. Personality. however. is not to be outdone by beauty. Once the shortest girl in the class. Middie has now grown to a good tive teet seven inches, and given up detending herself with her lists. Choir. hoclcey, and modern dancing tind Middie at her best. As section leader ot the tirst sopronos. she may be found early in the morning doing her tuning-up exer- cises. As tor socializing, she gets plenty ot prac- tice, and with that contagious giggle and endless pep, it's easy enough to understand why.
