The team opened its season with a win over Dobbins Yocational School, and Lincoln High School. The scorers were john hlohnstone. Ray Fulton, Hill jones, .lim llaering, lioli Fulton, Ralph liicldelieck, Andy Smyth. ,Xrt Smith. XX'arren lfherhardt. and Henry Miller. Girard College gave tis our first defeat of the season. Next. journeying to the .Xliington Y.M.C..X., Mr. Spealler's tanltmen defeated ,Xliington lligh School. ,Xgain the aliove named swimmers tallied points for the Red, lilue, and lilackg supported whtnle-heartedly liy the efforts of Fawcett. McNeil, llarwi. and XYells. German- town .Xeademy then met Malvern at the new Yillanova pool at Yillanova L'niversity. and the team again proved its superiority lly defeating Malvern .fXcademy, liaeh swimmer put forth his lmest. as was readily shown by the final score. Our last two meets were not too successful. those being with Haverford Academy and St. 'lost-ph's l're- paratory School, ending with a score in favor of our opponents. Wrefifzncg .-Xlthough one of the newest sports to German- town .-Xcztdemy. wrestling has lmecome one of the most popular of the winter sports. This year's team was the first wrestling team to he organized and to compete in the lnter-Ac league. The record was not an outstanding one. but the large number of hoys participating in wrestling shows that in future years GMX, may expect excellent results from the team. Lfnder the expert coaching of Mr. l'ritchard. the team had four matches. Uutstand- ing were captain Ted Richter, Charlie Thorpe. and lfrank 'l'emme. llowever, the team owes its success to the efforts of not a few, hut to all who participated in the sport from the lightweiglits to the heavyweights,
